Anthropology Students Are Top Presenters at 2022 TAS Conference

March 2, 2022
This past weekend was the 2022 annual meeting of the Texas Academy of Science during which four of our undergraduate students accompanied Dr. Timothy Campbell to represent Baylor and the Department of Anthropology. Each student presented their unique research projects. We are proud to say that all of our students did an amazing job and represented Baylor with distinction.

Moreover, we are pleased to report that due to their hard work and effort, all four received awards resulting in Baylor University – Anthropology being featured several times during the banquet. This is truly an outstanding accomplishment on their parts, and reflection of the caliber of students in our department. If you see them around the building, feel free to congratulate them. They earned it! Also, the two posters that were presented are now up on the third floor so be sure to check them out.

Below are honors earned by our representing scholars:

Garrett Croley – First Place Oral Presentation

Kaylee Hogness – Second Place Oral Presentation

Noah Wingate – First Place Poster Presentation

Kylie Mongan – Second Place Poster Presentation
